Interns with Felicia for Portland will have a unique, challenging and informative project focused experience learning about how to run a successful grassroots campaign. With a set schedule on the campaign, interns will be able to take on leadership roles on a number of ongoing projects and tasks
Field and Voter DataBase Management
Qualified candidates must have the following skills: A passion for politics and solving issues facing Portlanders. Ability and willingness to work under close deadlines in a fast paced working environment. Must have excellent writing and computer skills, organizational, and customer services skills. Interns must have patience and ability to work within a diverse group of individuals. Strong teamwork and writing skills ARE A MUST! Ensure discretion and common sense when dealing with sensitive or timely information.
Must be able to commit 10 hours/week to campaign projects.
Academic credits can be received through our internship program from the Political Science, Community Development, and other departments. This internship can also fulfill graduation requirements for certain graduate and undergraduate programs.
